How to delete an AI Agent

You can delete an AI Agent from the Dev Settings section of your portal.

Deleting an AI Agent is permanent. Once the agent is deleted, it cannot be recovered.

Before you delete an AI Agent

Before deleting an AI Agent, make sure you no longer need it.

Deleting an AI Agent may affect any flows, channels, or setup connected to that agent. If the agent is currently live, be especially careful before confirming the deletion.

Important: Deleted AI Agents cannot be restored.

How to delete an AI Agent

In your portal, open the Tools menu in the upper-right corner.
Click Dev Settings.
In Dev Settings, find the AI Agent deletion section.
Click Delete AI Agent.
A confirmation step will appear.
Confirm that you want to delete the AI Agent.

If the AI Agent is live

If the AI Agent is currently live, you will need to complete an extra confirmation step before deleting it.

You may be asked to type the AI Agent name before the deletion can be completed. This helps prevent accidental deletion of an active agent.

To continue:

Enter the AI Agent name exactly as requested.
Review the warning carefully.
Confirm the deletion.

After you confirm, the AI Agent will be permanently deleted.

What happens after deletion

Once the AI Agent is deleted:

The agent is removed from your portal.
The agent can no longer be used in flows or communication channels.
Any live setup depending on that agent may stop working.
The deleted agent cannot be recovered.

Troubleshooting

I do not see the Dev Settings option

Make sure you are using an account with the required permissions. Some users may not have access to developer or administrative settings.

I clicked Delete AI Agent but cannot complete the deletion

If the AI Agent is live, check whether you need to type the AI Agent name before the final confirmation. The name usually needs to match exactly.

I deleted the wrong AI Agent

Deleted AI Agents cannot be recovered. If you still need an AI Agent, you will need to create and configure a new one.
