How can I configure my AI agent settings and lead extraction?

The AI Agent Settings (Developer Settings) section lets you control how your AI agent handles lead data extraction and manage important configuration options, including enabling custom data capture and managing critical actions like deleting an agent.
Lead Extraction
This section controls how data is captured from conversations.
Enable AI Extraction
- Toggle Enable AI extraction ON to allow the AI to extract custom data points from conversations.
- This is required for Custom Lead Fields to work.
š Notes:
- Standard lead fields (like name, email, phone) remain active by default.
- Turning this OFF disables custom data extraction.
Custom Lead Fields
This connects directly to the Custom Leads section.
- Click Manage Custom Leads to:
- Add new custom fields
- Define what data should be extracted
- Customize your lead profiles
Danger Zone
This is a critical section.
Delete AI Agent
- Permanently deletes the AI agent and associated data
ā ļø This action removes:
- Development version
- Production version
- Webhook configurations
- Version history
š Important:
- This action cannot be undone
When to Use This Section
Use AI Agent Settings when you want to:
- Enable or disable lead data extraction
- Configure how conversation data is structured
- Manage custom lead fields
- Remove an AI agent permanently
Best Practices
- Keep AI extraction enabled if you rely on structured lead data
- Regularly review custom fields to ensure relevance
- Avoid deleting agents unless absolutely necessary
- Export or back up important data before deletion
